Ser Jin comes from a background in engineering and enjoys working with numbers and people. He has been a veteran in the financial industry since 2002 which has allowed him to combine his interest in numbers with his passion in connecting with people. Prior to that that, he spent almost a decade in a regional IT sales role across various multinational corporations which has exposed him to people from all walks of life and hence understands different individual’s needs through different stages of life.

Ser Jin strongly believes in continually upgrading his skills and has acquired various professional certification and accreditation in the financial industry over the years.

In 2017, Ser Jin was honoured to be awarded the prestigious industry recognition of IBF (Institute of Banking and Finance) Advanced Level 3, which is benchmarked to international standards. IBF Level 3 National Certification is an industry endorsed mark of quality for finance professionals and is only awarded to select practitioners who have acquired certified qualification like CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) and have more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry. IBF certified Financial consultants are expected to uphold values of professional excellence, integrity and commitment to the industry.

Ser Jin enjoys the challenge of helping his clients, both individuals and corporate, plan ahead for their financial needs and concerns and also hedge against life’s unexpected risks. Being trained as an engineer has given him an advantage to approach problems in a systematic and practical manner and craft customised financial plans for his clients to give them that peace of mind in life’s journey.

During weekends or leisure time, you can find Ser Jin working out, cooking for the family, watching a good movie or spending time bonding with his wife and 2 sons. Ser Jin also serves as a grassroots leader in the community.
